The Enterprise Systems (ES) Enterprise Architect supports YETI's technology transformation by bridging the gap between business capabilities and technology enablers to drive strategic business outcomes. As an Enterprise Architect you will work with Yeti business and Technology stakeholders to drive the design, development, and deployment the YETI future state platform. The ES Enterprise Architect key areas of responsibility are to maintain an ES Capability Portfolio and Roadmap; define, create and maintain architecture artifacts and documentation; participate in design reviews and approvals; and support Yeti Technology and ES projects.

Responsibilities:
- Leading the development of an implementation plan for the EA, based on business requirements and IT strategies; overseeing EA implementation, ongoing EA refinement activities, and the documentation of all EA design and analysis work
- Leading the identification and analysis of enterprise business drivers to derive enterprise business, information, technical and solution architecture requirements; analyzing industry, technology and market trends to determine their potential impacts on the enterprise
- Promote the EA process, outcomes and results to the organization, including the enterprise's IT and business leaders; this includes assessing (through appropriate metrics) and communicating the achievement and impact of the EA, as well as leading the development and execution of an EA communication and education plan
- Understanding, advocating and supporting the enterprise's business and IT strategies
- Sets-up and participates in an Architecture Review Board for all Technology projects and major enhancements
- Leading and facilitating the creation of governing principles to guide solution decision making for the enterprise
- Define, establish, and maintain governance, principals, process, practices, artifacts & documentation, tools, people and team to meet the organizational needs for Enterprise Architecture
- Builds and maintain the application catalogue and enterprise systems roadmap for YETI
- Analyzing the current business and IT environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement
- Ensuring that the optimal governance structure and compliance activities (such as handling waivers) are associated with EA compliance
- Consulting with program/project teams to fit solutions to architecture across all viewpoints
Qualifications and Attributes:
- Technical Prowess: Strength/expertise surrounding the SAP technology stack and the ability to incorporate hyper-scaler reference architecture, integration techniques and 3rd party products
- Collaboration: Demonstrate ability to collaborate and team build across entities to achieve results
- At least 10 years of hands-on experience working with Enterprise System technologies and specifically SAP technologies in an enterprise environment
- Accomplished Leader: Ability to develop a vision, collaborate with other team members and drive the completion of work efforts
- Industry Knowledge: Consumer Product and Retail industry experience a benefit
- SAP Solution Expert: Extensive knowledge of the SAP solution portfolio and its application within the end-to-end business capabilities
- Continuous Improvement: A drive for improvement and an inclination to thoughtfully challenge the status quo
- Certification: TOGAF; alternative is SAP Architecture with at least 6 years of Architecture Practice experience.
- Solution Lifecycle Experience: Ideally managed a complex SAP solution landscape implementation at an SAP customer
- Education: Bachelor's degree in related field; Master's degree preferred (MS/MBA)
- Communication: Strong written and verbal skills with the ability to communicate to technical and non-technical people at all levels
- Lifelong Learner: Passion for self-development to gain in-depth understanding of the SAP solution portfolio, industry trends, executive presence, and architectural guidelines
- Engagement: Comfortable to engage with people at all levels, including c-suite; Exhibits passion and energy
- Cloud Architecture Competence: Strong working knowledge of SaaS and IaaS design, deployment and implementation of cloud, on-premise and hybrid environments
US Workplace Approach:
- Remote: Role is full-time remote.
- Hybrid: Role requires you to be located in Austin, Texas and is a mixture of onsite and remote.
- Onsite: Role requires you to be onsite full-time.
