Your Job

As an Enterprise Architect at Koch Capabilities, you will be instrumental in driving the transformation of our technological landscape in line with Industry 4.0, focusing on Connected Factory and Connected Products. This role will require you to conceptualize, create, and integrate reusable architecture and platforms, and leverage edge computing and cloud-native capabilities. A key part of your role will also involve enhancing cybersecurity measures within this context. You'll work in close collaboration with various business stakeholders to build coalitions, implement new application initiatives/projects, and improve user experiences.

What You Will Do

  • Elicit, analyze, and validate business requirements via various techniques, evaluating feasibility of integrating them into the existing architectural landscape.
  • Partner with product teams to test and validate new system releases and functionality, effectively communicate with customers about changes impacting their business, and help create relevant documentation.
  • Exercise the courage to challenge the status quo, escalate issues when necessary, work independently, and respect diverse cultures and opinions.
  • Serve as a central point for managing complex system configurations, assisting product teams in issue resolution and existing functionality enhancement.
  • Employ critical thinking and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex functional and technical issues, facilitating swift resolution and/or collaboration with vendors.
  • Lead the enterprise architecture development process, underlining the importance of reusable architecture, edge computing, cloud-native capabilities, and cybersecurity in the planning and execution of the Industry 4.0 roadmap.
  • Work collaboratively with product teams, stakeholders, Global Process Owners, vendors, third-party consultants, and IT teams to develop and implement Industry 4.0 solutions.
  • Identify alternative architectural approaches and formulate recommendations based on economic analysis and business requirements.
  • Develop comprehensive understanding of our industrial technology stack, comprehending interdependencies to help in creating and providing long-term Industry 4.0 compliant solutions.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience in defining and analyzing business requirements, technology architecture design, or systems integration.
  • Experience in designing applications for business process workflows or implementing IT projects.
  • Proficiency in influencing, collaborating, and communicating with leaders, users, and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to critically evaluate requirements and data to solve business operational needs, applying sound economic thinking to solutions.
  • Experience working in complex enterprise environments with a firm grasp of Industry 4.0 principles.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Background in edge computing, cloud-native capabilities, and cybersecurity.
  • Strong understanding of Connected Factory and Connected Products concepts, and experience in implementing reusable architecture and platforms.
  • Experience in communicating and presenting to users/stakeholders at various levels within an organization and across the globe.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously without disruption in deliverables.
  • Strong economic, analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving ability.
