Position Summary
The Enrollment Operations Administrator (Slate) focuses on the management of the Admission’s CRM, Slate, including import of datasets, applications, forms and queries as well as long-term infrastructure for reports, fields, and rules. This position plays an integral role in CRM customization, development, cycle preparation, and training, to support the objectives of the university. The position will recommend Slate enhancements for processing/operations. and implement new features upon approval.
Essential Functions:
· Responsible for the operational maintenance and data integrity of the Admissions database and ensures accuracy of data by updating and changing student information, and by developing methods to check for discrepancies.
· Processes online applications and supplemental application materials (transcripts, portfolios, resumes, etc.) to ensure authenticity, consistent metadata entry, and efficient movement of applicants toward completion across many divisions and locations including but not limited to Traditional Undergraduate, Graduate, Doctoral, HU Dubai, and HULATAM.
· Serves as first-level support for CRM-related concerns raised by internal and external stakeholders.
· Creates and manages queries and reports to support business and operational needs across various systems.
· Develops and maintains training documents outlining institutional processes relating to CRM processes.
· Meets with campus stakeholders to explore opportunities to further integrate use of Slate CRM for the benefit of holistic enrollment management.
· Manages record consolidation of duplicate records.
· Serves as the subject matter expert in data comparisons between Jenzabar, Slate, and other University systems and databases ensuring the data is in sync and has consistent data integrity
· Locates and defines new process improvement opportunities.
· Creates, updates, and maintains student and organization records; manages and processes change requests related to the integrity of data and the database.
· Configures CRM systems to support events, such as planning, preparation, communication, registration and tracking.
· Completes work requests as assigned, to include but is not limited to creation of internal forms, development of workflows, population maintenance relating to permissions, realms, dataset upload, queries, reports, custom coding assistance as needed.
· Stays current with best practices for use of Slate CRM, and enrollment data management, as an active participant in virtual and in-person training opportunities.
Education and Professional Experience
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
· 1-3 years proven experience with an admissions information management system with minimum of 1 year experience using Slate CRM.
· Experience in data management and data standards.
· Demonstrated experience meeting deadlines and independently managing priorities successfully.
General Knowledge and Skills
· Ability to clearly communicate with a variety of constituents, both verbally and in writing.
· Ability to use strong analytical skills; the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
· Skill in writing queries, report writing, and presenting findings accurately.
· Ability to prioritize, organize and work independently, or as part of a project team, to complete multiple tasks with a strong attention to detail.
· Ability to identify potential process and workflow improvements.
· Ability to train staff on best practices of data analysis in admissions systems (i.e., training on query and report building).
