Position description:

Our Translation Services team is looking for an intern to work with us this summer, to provide support to our translation services team. Their work will be divided between Engineering and Quality Control.

Location: remote, CET
Reports to: Engineering manager & Quality manager

Responsibilities:

For Quality:

• Prepare evaluation scorecards in Excel
• Prepare language materials to be sent to linguists
• Check the availability of linguist evaluators
• Send evaluations to translators

Support Engineering team for:

• Analyze the status of Engineering documentation (location, date of latest modifications, # of active versions,…) to help the team on Acclaro Hub migration
• Some administrative tasks (e.g.: collecting info from PMs group for internal maintenance tasks)

Requirements:

• Basic technical background
• Ability to communicate with people across diverse cultures and languages in a professional, diplomatic, and clear manner
• Strong sense of responsibility and ownership of tasks
• Currently enrolled in a minimum of a bachelor’s degree with an interest in Translation, Localization, or Engineering
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail
• Good time-keeping

Desirable:

• Previous experience in the localization industry
• Capability to read scripts
• Studies in Localization, Translation, Project Management, Engineering, or related fields
• Familiarity with CAT tools
