Npd Manufacturing Engineering Intern

Job Summary：Trane Technologies is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer Intern in Clarksville, TN. In this role, you will assist the NPD Manufacturing Engineering team with new product launches, productivity & QnR project implementations, and general production support as needed. You will also assist with the design and setup of new production assembly cells or the rearrangement of existing assembly cells to incorporate new products and processes. This will also include providing start-up support and process improvements during the launch of projects.
Responsibilities:

• Support MDI process of problem solving, and continuous improvement as assigned.
• Aid in the development of manufacturing process concepts.
• Manage onsite contractors during equipment installations as required.
• Comply with all safety policies and procedures.
• Support the development and maintenance of process documentation.
• Aid in the design and purchase of production equipment as required.
• Trouble shoot and improve new/existing manufacturing processes.
• Manage project objectives and tasks as assigned.
• Submit work orders and work with maintenance to complete tasks.

Qualifications:

• Creo or other 3D design software a plus
• AutoCAD and Microsoft Office knowledge required.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical manufacturing processes, including assembly and testing.
• BS Engineering or Engineering Technologies degree preferred
