Key Responsibilities
The IT Field Services Engineer is responsible for managing logistics aspects of small to large size projects that are diverse, and moderately complex. Help coordinate project planning, training, execution, timing, functionality, quality, and cost. Required to interact with vendors and contractors. Will have to possess excellent organization & communication skills, You will have to possess excellent customer service skills. Have a strong background in project management, has a strong understanding in Telecommunications Standards & practices. Candidate will insure United's IT Critical Infrastructure standards are followed. The role is ensures functionality and quality of solution, is involved in project’s LAN "Local Area Network" WAN "Wide Area Network" VOIP "Voice Over IP"CCTV "Closed Circuit Television", Mobility platforms and infrastructure activities that comply with United’s IT critical infrastructure standards. The role will be the interface between Field Services and internal/external business partners.

• Supports the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.
• Attends regional project meetings and provides project tracking and analysis.
• Ensures The Main Distribution Frame (MDF) room and intermediate distribution frame (IDF) conform to established enterprise/industry standards (BICSI) Building Industry Consulting Service International, (EIA) Electronic Industries Alliance, (TIA) Telecommunications Industry association
• Coordinate activities with internal/external technology owners/service providers.
• Network Engineering, WAN Engineering, WiFi Engineering, mobility Engineering.
• Monitoring regional (DT) Digital Technology stock levels and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• System maintenance/ administration, diagnostics, automated imaging of PC equipment/IT Infrastructure, installation and removal of PC equipment, assist end users with troubleshooting of device performance issue
• Support regional airports, customer service centers, contact centers and all United facilities. Duties include Walkthroughs, (DT) Digital Technology Equipment, preventative maintenance, mobility product support, (DT) Digital Technology infrastructure support, operational equipment and communication rooms, base location inventory management and supply storage

Qualifications
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

• Ability to work onsite at SFO
• Minimum of 3 years of IT experience. (IT Field Services)
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent IT experience
• Must be able to work a flexible 7x24x365 schedule and able to travel 50% of the time
• Ability to communicate solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Mobility IOS/Android, Windows, LAN room and (DT) Digital technology Infrastructure experience (Copper, fiber optic)

What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):

• An Associates degree preferably in Information Technology or equivalent (DT) Digital Technology experience, certifications, in Low Voltage Communications is preferred

Salary Range

• $62,850 to $92,180 annually
