Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Performance Engineer for one of our large client project. This is a remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere with a strong internet connection. As a Senior Performance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of our software applications and systems. If you are a self-motivated professional with a minimum of 9+ years of experience in performance engineering, we would love to hear from you.


Senior Performance Engineer

Location: Remote

Long Term Contract



Responsibilities:

  • Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies in performance engineering.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior performance engineers in the team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand performance requirements and define performance testing strategies.
  • Identify performance bottlenecks, analyze root causes, and provide recommendations for optimization.
  • Design, develop, and execute performance test scripts and scenarios to evaluate system performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with development teams to tune application code and configurations for optimal performance.
  • Conduct performance profiling and monitoring to proactively identify performance issues and propose solutions.


Requirements:

  • Experience with performance analysis and tuning of web applications, APIs, and databases.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficient in performance testing tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, or Gatling.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Minimum 9+ years of experience in performance engineering for large-scale software applications.
  • Strong knowledge of performance profiling and monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, New Relic, or AppDynamics.
  • Solid understanding of performance testing methodologies, performance metrics, and performance tuning techniques.
  • Strong programming and scripting skills (Java, Python, Shell, etc.).
