The nonprofit Center for Compassionate Leadership is seeking an essential team member to help us bring about systemic change in the world. We envision a collaborative colleague with whom we can co-create meaningful programs and grow community to develop and support compassionate leaders around the globe.
This is a contract position requiring 20-30 hours per week.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
oServe as the primary point of contact and communication for CFCL activities such as training programs, alumni activities, and community gatherings.
- Maintain registration lists and administer all required communications for enrollment activity. Respond to information inquiries.
- Manage and report on payments during enrollment periods.
- Manage, analyze, and optimize the enrollment funnel.
- Manage all operational aspects of course delivery requiring coordination of multiple contributors on tight deadlines.
- Survey program participants before and after each program.
- Create ongoing informational and marketing communications to program prospects, participants, and alumni.
oAdminister all group Zoom sessions, including working as the primary Zoom producer for CFCL’s public training cohorts, custom client workshops, and community gatherings.
oProject manage development of Compassionate Leadership Teacher Training program, to launch in Q1 2024.
oCo-create strategy and manage the CFCL program alumni community, including alumni gatherings and LinkedIn group.
oContribute to social media activities, in conjunction with CFCL’s social media contractor, across LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.
oCo-create strategy, co-develop, and produce new educational and community events, such as courses, workshops, summits, and retreats.
oDevelop and maintain relationships with partner organizations with aligned missions and create inter-organization collaborations.
oSource community events for and maintain community events webpage.
oProvide general administrative support for the Center for Compassionate Leadership.
oParticipate in program evaluation and continuous improvement process.
QUALIFICATIONS
oDeep desire to grow compassion in the world through leadership and to seek to alleviate suffering around the world.
oStrong relational personality with a skillful capacity to compassionately understand others.
oSignificant operations, project management, and production experience, with a strong detail orientation.
oClear and compelling communicator
oPurpose-driven marketer, with track record in building educational programs and community.
oExperience in leadership development and education.
oExperience with the following:
- Google Suite (Forms, Docs, Sheets)
- Adobe Acrobat and Photoshop
- Canva
- Squarespace
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Educational and community software platforms
- Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook
- Zoom
- MailChimp
oComfort with both scientific evidence and contemplative wisdom.
oPrevious training and current practice in compassion, mindfulness, or emotional intelligence preferred.
LOCATION
Qualified candidates need to be available to coordinate with team members in the Eastern Time Zone (US and Canada, UTC – 5:00). While most work can be scheduled in a highly flexible manner, Zoom production is required during scheduled programs. For example, the next cohort Zoom schedule is from 10:30 am - 12:30 pm ET, on Tuesdays from October 24 to December 12, 2023.
Upcoming programs may require travel.
