EARLY CAREERS PROGRAM

Financial Services Industries (6 month duration)


Please note: This role is not eligible for relocation or work authorization support – work onsite from our New York office, 3 days per week, is required

Conditions and benefits of the Early Careers Program (ECP)

  • All required technological equipment (laptop and mobile phone) and accesses
  • This program is not eligible for relocation support
  • We are flexible to accommodate start dates between September 1 and October 15 2023
  • Monthly gross compensation of USD $4000
  • Full-time onsite employment duration of 6 months with the World Economic Forum New York office


ECP – Financial Services Industries

The Financial Services Industries team represents the largest community of Forum partners representing institutions from over 40 countries from across the Banking & Capital Markets, Insurance & Asset Management, Investors and Real Estate industries. The Financial Services Industries team is responsible for engaging senior executives from these institutions in the Forum’s various activities and building an ambitious industry agenda where the Forum’s trusted platform is ideally suited to drive global dialogue and shape industry transformation.


Reason for hiring

We are looking for a strong early careers program (ECP) candidate to provide ongoing support, coordination and analysis to work related to a number of initiatives and communities. This support would be provided to colleagues working across Banking & Capital Markets, Insurance & Asset Management, Investors and Real Estate.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Community Management: Support the development, curation, and operation of the various communities in the Industry team. This will include supporting Industry Heads in helping with onboarding new community members, managing communications and providing other administrative support for data quality and information management.
  • Research/Content Curation: Undertake research on critical industry trends as required to support Industry dialogue series and community activities, including quantitative and qualitative analysis. Support the curation and development of marketing materials for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Scoping & Evaluation: Work with Industry leads to help scope and develop cross-industry activities, including new potential strategy dialogues and opportunities to convene cross-sectoral communities across World Economic Forum events.
  • Operational Excellence: Support the team’s operational success by helping with the preparation and execution of virtual and in-person workshops / meetings and managing communications with communities and working groups. Work collaboratively with Partner Leads and Industry Heads by providing other administrative support as required.


Preferred qualification and experience:

  • 1+ years of internship/professional experience in financial services, research or management consulting
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or international affairs (Master’s preferred)

  • Strong implementation and follow through, advanced communication skills with excellent writing examples

  • Strong interest in the financial services sector


Vaccination requirement

The Forum LLC requires that employees be fully vaccinated with at least one booster against COVID-19 by their first day of employment. The Forum will evaluate all requests for accommodation/exemption from this policy in keeping with federal, state, and local law.
