Financial Restructuring


Houlihan Lokey has the largest, most experienced worldwide financial restructuring practice of any Investment Banking firm, with over 300 professionals located in offices across the globe. In 2022, we worked on more than 125 restructuring-related transactions on behalf of companies, their creditors and shareholders, and other constituents. Scope


Houlihan Lokey is seeking an Early Careers Recruiter for its Financial Restructuring business in the United States. Covering New York, Chicago & Minneapolis. In this 360-degree role, you will hold responsibility for the Early Career programs within Houlihan Lokey’s Financial Restructuring business in the aforementioned offices.


Responsibilities


  • Working with the relevant teams to ensure a smooth transition after offer through to onboarding
  • Close liaison with other Houlihan Lokey divisions including but not limited to Corporate Finance
  • Overseeing the design, development and delivery of annual early careers recruitment hiring initiatives including the A-Z of processes
  • Key involvement with Houlihan Lokey’s annual Global graduate Training Program (July-August)
  • Establishing and maintaining excellent relationships with key business stakeholders of all levels, acting as their Early Careers recruitment expert and providing advice and guidance as well as market intelligence
  • Overall responsibility for the delivery of early careers programs and initiatives across Houlihan Lokey’s Financial Restructuring business (New York, Chicago & Minneapolis)
  • Strategically leading the development and enhancement of early careers programs across Summer Analyst, Graduate and MBA programs
  • Championing DEI efforts, strategies and projects in tandem with colleagues
  • Ensuring the Workday ATS is kept up to date as required at all times
  • Be commercially astute and manage expenses, external partnering fees and general business recruitment costs sensitively and accurately
  • School event management (Campus Season presentations, Banker liaison)
  • Working closely with Early Careers and other Talent Acquisition colleagues
  • Overseeing and managing our schools strategy and school relationships to drive applications to such programs
  • Taking ownership of the candidate experience including offer process management


Qualifications/Requirements


  • Strong spoken and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to develop and maintain professional relationships at all levels
  • Experience of organizing and managing assessment centers
  • Experience developing a strategy and managing a busy events schedule for candidate/school outreach
  • Experience in an Early Careers recruitment is a pre-requisite, preferred candidates will have Investment Banking or Financial Services experience though this is not essential
  • Experience managing high volume early careers recruitment
  • Demonstrable experience managing projects with multiple requirements, dependencies and stakeholders
  • Prior ATS experience is preferred, Workday experience will be advantageous
  • Experience of running early careers programs. Preferred candidates will have also operated in the MBA space

Houlihan Lokey is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive total compensation package, which may include other components such as discretionary incentive compensation.


$90,000.00-$115,000.00


Actual salary at the time of hire may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant qualifications, skills, and experience and the location where this position may be filled.
