Director, Tech Project Management

DIRECTV is seeking a Tech Project Management Director to own the vision to simplify and align our customer and agent journeys to drive a consistent and easy purchasing experience. This critical leader will develop and maintain customer, dealer, and company journey mapping, and pain point identification for acquisition value stream (I Learn, I Buy, I Get episodes). The Director will manage CTTO intake from the enterprise acquisition experience perspective and ensure leadership alignment on PI prioritization and back-log. This is a business-driven technology role, and the ideal candidate will bring technology-enabled, large-scale Business Transformation experience and working knowledge of large Salesforce implementations.

Here's what you’ll do:

• Drive acquisition plan that achieves IOP sales targets, reduces overall average handle time, and removes friction and pain points in the purchasing experience.
• Define overall business goals for acquisition value stream, utilize concept posters to gain consensus on desired solutions to meet business needs, and prioritize work efforts in collaboration with business partners and product teams.
• Epic owner for Acquisition Value Stream (using SAFe – scaled agile framework).
• Lead a team of Project Managers who will be responsible for converting multiple Business Roadmaps into Business Requirements.
• Develop and maintain capability mapping for each channel experience, roadmap interdependencies across the organization.
• Validate the delivered product meets the strategic business objectives through activities such as user acceptance testing, demos, etc.
• Setup value stream Center of Excellence and governance for acquisition to ensure alignment across leadership.
• Resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways, proactively recommend requirements and/or process improvements.

What you’ll need to be successful:

• Supervisory professional with advanced project management experience required
• Undergraduate degree preferred, MBA a plus
• Scaled Agile certification and Jira Align experience preferred
• 7+ years of experience working within IT, Operational, Product, or Customer Experience orientated roles
• Online and Indirect sales and/or operational experience preferred
• Call Center sales and/or operational experience required
• Working knowledge of SAFe is highly preferred
• Experience writing Epics, Features, and User Stories required
• Experience with journey and capability mapping required

Specialization/working experience in two of the following is highly desired:

• Salesforce Sales & Service Cloud
• Data Science/Analytics/Customer Journey Technologies
• Contact Center as a Service Technologies /IVR Technologies
• Conversational AI/ Virtual Assistant
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud

This is a remote position that can be located anywhere in the United States.

The Base Salary range displayed below reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for each of DIRECTV's 4 (four) US Labor Market Zones. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

DIRECTV WAGE ZONES: $116,375 - $211,255

Low (N1): $116,375 - $174,515

Mid (N2): $122,500 - $183,700

High (N3): $134,750 - $202,070

Top (N4): $140,875 - $211,255
