Job Summary

Reporting to the CEO, you as the Director of Project Management are responsible for directing project management operations and strategic planning to meet organizational goals. You will provide overall strategic governance for projects by establishing standards, processes, and tools used for effective project delivery.

Please note this position is on-site 4 days a week at our West Hollywood, California office, with 1 day ability to work from your home office.

Your Responsibilities

• Use technical expertise and business acumen to drive project decisions to maximize customer satisfaction and business performance
• Respond to escalation of project issues that may impede project delivery and coordinate solutions
• Identify and manage project risks using collective experience of the team and leadership
• Develop project plans including defining the project goals and objectives, activities, milestones, costs of project, equipment, and other resource requirements
• Coordinate project personnel activities to ensure projects progress on schedule and within prescribed budgets
• Monitor and analyze project metrics to identify weaknesses or problems and to propose operational improvements and cost savings for future projects
• Interface with functional areas to establish work plans and resourcing for each project and project phase
• Provide overall strategic governance for projects by establishing standards, processes, tools and methodologies to set productivity and quality targets and to assess results for all projects
• Conduct project and status meetings to effectively drive project activities and decisions
• Establish a Project Management Office
• Communicate status of projects to company executives and other stakeholders, appropriately escalating issues as needed
• Utilize influence to lead various cross-functional project teams composed of but not limited to marketing, partnerships, creative, design, production, finance and technical teams to ensure completion of projects
• Partner with the creative team and technical team to maximize productive output and explore new opportunities in process and workflows
• Utilize key metrics, such as ROI and revenue potential to determine project priorities and impact with consultation of Product Owner
• Work closely with vendors to receive detailed project quotes, manage exchange of work orders and help arrange for contract handling
• Mentor other project management professionals in the organization.
• Leverage leading project management tools and methodologies to improve team execution and collaboration (i.e. JIRA ticketing system, Monday.com, etc.)

Qualifications

• Proficient in MS Suite
• Highly experienced with Confluence, Jira and Monday.com
• Excellent understanding of blockchain technology
• Highly organized and be able to multitask and manage multiple projects and competing priorities without sacrificing results or quality of work
• Must be flexible, motivated, and highly collaborative, this role will need a self-starter who can roll up their sleeves and get things done
• Ability to present information concisely and accurately in an engaging manner
• 10+ years experience in a project management capacity
• Interest in and knowledgeable about digital collectibles
• Excellent communicator, able to collaborate with numerous teams at any given time while not losing sight of project goals and timelines
• Proven experience managing end-to-end releases

The salary range for this role is $140,000 - $165,000 per year commensurate with experience.
