Responsibilities
- Conducting consultative sales meetings with pipeline opportunities to maximize revenue opportunities.
- Meeting quarterly sales revenue and EBITA goals.
- Identifying competitor positioning and competitive threats; developing strategies to offset and counter.
- Creating strong customer relationships to enhance their experience, improve problem solving and ensure retention. Participating in the development of strategies and operational plans. Ensuring the company is positioned to identify and respond to potential new business and revenue growth opportunities.
- Managing or conducting associated due diligence activities; facilitating execution of approved agreements and contracts.
- Providing business intelligence regarding new customers to facilitate a seamless transition into the company.
- Developing communication strategies and working collaboratively with the operations teams to integrate new business.
- Developing a pipeline of opportunities. Generating leads, identifying and creating a pool of potential sales targets, collecting and analyzing competitive intelligence, developing long-term plans/processes.
- Managing the development and response, for bids, RFPs, client inquiries, and business cases to achieve business growth; ensuring the responses/documents are accurately prepared and submitted within prescribed timeframes, facilitating the due diligence process and responding to customer inquiries.
- Other duties, including travel, as assigned to deliver on New Story’s strategic objectives.
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of information technology, enabling tools and technologies (e.g. CRM, Business Intelligence tools, Research tools, related tools), and MS Office Suite Software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret sales data
- Bachelors Degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Proven expertise in working with stakeholders across organizational lines to foster collaborative relationships and partnerships
- Excellent knowledge of effective sales techniques, methods, and best practices
- Ability to travel.
- Experience in special needs administration or selling into the education marketplace
- Proven track record of achieving revenue growth targets
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with clients, partners, and team members.
