Community Outreach Coordinator Jobs

Responsibilities:

1. Community Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, local organizations, and other stakeholders to understand the unique challenges and needs of the communities we serve.
2. Program Promotion: Create and implement effective outreach strategies to raise awareness of our programs and initiatives, driving participation and engagement within the target communities.
3. Event Planning: Organize and coordinate community events, workshops, and information sessions to educate the public about Solal's mission, projects, and opportunities for involvement.
4. Volunteer Management: Recruit, train, and support volunteers to assist in community outreach efforts, ensuring a cohesive and impactful approach.
5. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments within Solal, such as marketing, program development, and operations, to align outreach efforts with the overall organizational goals.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in community outreach, preferably within the non-profit sector.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., community development, social work, communications, or related disciplines).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse audiences.
• A deep understanding of community needs, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to adapt outreach strategies accordingly.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
