Summary
Our region is growing, and we are searching for a transformational leader to support our operations team with this expansion. The successful candidate will lead our North America operations team which is responsible for delivery of our products, services and solutions to the satisfaction of the customers in our region. The Regional Operations Leader is responsible for the operational performance (P/L), quality, customer support and customer satisfaction. She/he will lead the actions for P&L/cash monthly, quarterly and yearly targets in full compliance with EHS and GE Values.About us

Major Responsibilities:
- Drive structural improvements to operations in line with PL delivery model and footprint, drive change initiatives as required to improve efficiencies and execute on business commitments
- Coordinate technical support and coaching for complex & strategic projects
- Lead the operations team including Project management, Engineering, Supply management, Order administration/customer support, PMO, Service.
- Identify, and lead improvements to operations processes and delivery models.
- Support the deployment of world-class processes and practices, methods and harmonized tools for project execution provided by the Global Operations Team
- Ramp up operations capabilities to support growth in existing and new product/solutions portfolio
- Initiate and lead supply chain activities to ensure on time delivery and best cost
- Ensure compliance with operations process and procedures, and EHS and HR values.
- Promote good practices sharing between units with the support of the Global Operation team
- Overall operations governance (push sales, cash call, regional review with P&L follow-up)
- Team growth and development. Promote diversity, multicultural experience and enforce technical versatility
- Lead the execution of projects, ensuring commitment to customer satisfaction, risks mitigation & cost optimization
Basic Qualifications:
- Knowledge and experience in the utility and industrial power systems designs and practices.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in applicable markets (e.g., electrical distribution, transmission, industrial and renewable).
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent
- Willingness and ability to travel as required up to 30%
