Our client is looking for a Sales Director to take the reins of a group of senior sales representatives covering specific regions. This role centres on the acquisition and growth of high-value, strategic accounts. Representing a fresh opportunity, this position will report to the US VP of Strategic Accounts. The ideal candidate will spearhead empowerment and performance oversight for their team members. Additionally, close collaboration with cross-functional units and leadership will be pivotal to secure new business and advance the firm's cutting-edge cybersecurity offerings.

Responsibilities:

• Cooperate with business development, marketing, subject matter experts, channel managers, renewals, and customer success teams to harmonize strategies, share insights, and elevate the overall customer experience.
• Manage the complete sales process, spanning prospecting, lead generation, qualification, design and deployment of proof-of-value (POV), proposal formulation, negotiation, and deal closure. Collaborate with internal units for the seamless implementation and delivery of solutions. Pinpoint gaps and propose continuous process enhancements for heightened efficiency.
• In collaboration with Sales Ops, deliver precise sales projections, pipeline assessments, and other sales-oriented metrics to senior management. Consistently assess and analyze sales performance, making necessary adaptations to meet objectives.
• Formulate and execute all-encompassing sales strategies that harmonize with business goals and target high-value strategic clientele. Recognize market openings, competitive landscapes, and customer requisites to fuel sales expansion.
• Take the helm in guiding, supervising, and inspiring a strategic sales team to attain sales objectives and deliver extraordinary outcomes. Provide mentorship, direction, and avenues for professional growth to individual representatives. Support recruitment, staffing, and onboarding initiatives to sustain a high-achieving team.

Qualifications:

• Capability to work autonomously while also fostering collaboration with multifaceted teams.
• Over 4 years of recent experience spearheading enterprise or strategic sales representatives within a dynamic, matrixed environment. Experience in sales management in the computer and network security sector is highly desired.
• Demonstrated achievements in forecasting, mapping territory accounts, conducting research and planning, and orchestrating discovery meetings for crucial strategic accounts.
• Excellent communication skills; the ideal candidate will possess the innate ability to convey complex ideas adeptly and engage diverse audiences effectively.
• Possession of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional background.
• A decade or more of full-cycle, B2B sales experience in intricate software or security domains. A proven track record of securing new enterprise and strategic business.
