Director of Sales - Atlanta, Georgia


inspiresport (including our Generation Adidas International) is the leader in international soccer travel and programming. Experts in the sport of soccer and travel logistics, we offer opportunities that include training, games, tournaments, coach education, cultural learning and much more. The quality and credentialing standards we maintain assure players, coaches, and parents that they will be safe and well cared for while overseas. We collaborate with the largest soccer clubs in the world, a few of which include Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juventus, Arsenal, Manchester City and many more. Our goal is that every player, coach, and parent will have a positive, life-changing experience impacting their development while growing their passion for the sport in Soccer.


Due to an exciting year of growth, we are now seeking a full-time Director of Sales to manage, lead and grow our sales team. The Director of Sales is responsible for driving revenue through oversight of a team of sales staff in addition to actively selling, generating revenue, and building strong relationships. The individual will be responsible for fostering a culture of growth and development through the sales staff and play a critical role in leading the sales strategies and execution. This is a hands-on sales leadership role responsible for coaching, achieving sales targets and managing sales staff productivity within a growing team. The position requires a motivated, results-oriented individual who thrives in a role that requires a high degree of independence, self-motivation, initiative, and entrepreneurship.


This is a varied, hands-on role and on a typical day you will


  • Work closely with operations to achieve sales goals
  • Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned
  • Monitor and manage compensation and commission structure
  • Manages departmental budget and forecasting
  • Develop and manage annual sales plan to achieve desired results including revenue goals and staffing.
  • Develop sales strategies and empowering the sales team to maximize revenue
  • Understand key client information including business strategy, key customers, and competitors
  • Attend weekly, monthly, and annual meetings
  • Directly manage sales team by setting and reviewing performance objectives, revenue objectives, coaching, motivating, mentoring, and training
  • Manage your team of sales staff alongside actively selling
  • Meet or exceed weekly, monthly, and annual team and individual performance goals
  • Have experience and proficient/consistent use of company CRM and client management systems
  • Manages multiple projects, prioritize work and balance strategic and tactical issues
  • Provide weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports
  • Prepare timely and accurate sales reports that monitor sales staff
  • Lead regular sales staff meetings and trainings

  • Possess general knowledge of soccer and the soccer sporting landscape
  • Have significant working knowledge & sales experience
  • Have excellent ability to establish rapport with others and ability to build strong interpersonal relationships
  • Have strong verbal and written communication, decision making, leadership and problem-solving skills
