Job Description
ClaimReturn is an industry leader in artificial intelligence-driven, cost-recovery healthcare IT, and is rapidly growing its virtual phone-based revenue recovery operations.
The Director of Revenue Recovery provides leadership, effective management, and overall oversight of the strategic and operational aspects of revenue recovery operations by managing virtual teams. This position provides strategic direction, guides implementation required for new workflows, and hands-on support to the virtual recovery department.
This role suggests changes in software applications and other interventions to collect the revenue associated with duplicate payments. The Director of Revenue Recovery harmonizes the current revenue cycle operations within ClaimReturn. This position develops and implements a comprehensive strategic plan and establishes clear objectives and priorities for the successful integration of people, processes, and technology within a virtual revenue recovery department. The Director of Revenue Recovery serves in a leadership role to ensure the financial viability and optimal performance of the organization through the management of revenue recovery. Supports sustained financial viability for ClaimReturn by managing the development of achievable recovery plans, identifying opportunities through variance analysis, and managing revenue recovery metrics.
Responsibilities
  • Providing leadership within the revenue recovery department.
  • Managing cost effective and efficient processes and outcome management within revenue recovery.
  • Overseeing the development and implementation of service standards and operating systems to optimize revenue recovery.
  • Maintaining appropriate internal control on recovery collections.
  • Growing the revenue recovery model to meet required metrics.
  • Establishing metrics and ensuring goals are met to maximize net revenue collectability and revenue recovery productivity.
  • Other duties as assigned or requested.
  • Building collaborative and supporting relationships across all functions and within revenue recovery. Monitoring and managing revenue recovery performance and service levels.
  • Assessing and responding to organizational and client needs with innovative programs to ensure required outcomes.
  • Overseeing and enhancing revenue collection, analysis and reporting processes, including information integrity validation and interpretation.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participating in financial forecasting, planning, and long-range strategy.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience with transformative change and recovery success within a virtual revenue recovery operation.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ten years of progressive revenue recovery experience and senior leadership experience. Demonstrated experience with collections, billing, credit, and driving metrics.
  • Mentoring, coaching, training, and supervisory experience within a virtual environment.
  • Hands-on experience with Third Party Administrators, healthcare providers and facilities.
  • Acute analytical and data skills.
