POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT (defines the major functions/purpose of the position):
The Retail Operations Director will report to the President of the Americas and be responsible for the execution of all retail operations within the US Wolford retail store locations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Creates and maintains instore on-boarding process for store teams
- Partners with Store Maintenance and Construction to administer annual capital budget for fleet maintenance and visual (light, paint, carpet, fixtures) to ensure fleet remains brand right
- Oversee new store openings and closings and store capex budget.
- Partners with Loss Prevention to ensure completion of quarterly Operations Audit to minimize shrinkage and also administer seasonal inventories
- Develops and implements with field leadership all store operations policies and procedures that impact the field organization
- Responsible for inventory management and store merchandising with a focus on improving assortment
- Develop and deliver the retail strategy for the US and take ownership over the portfolio of 25 stores.
- Set and achieve retail sales, store profitability, and overhead targets
- Works strategically to deliver innovative projects that enhance the store POS platform and communication technologies
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders internally
- Develops and implements with field leadership all store sales education, contest, and incentives to drive selling model
- Ensures clients concerns are addressed by leading the client service function
- Responsible for communication and execution of operational directives and training to the field(promotions, updates, company initiatives, etc.)
- Effectively ensure sales strategies and company initiatives are cascaded and communicated appropriately
- Partners with field leadership to develop and implement operational process that maximize economies of scale
- Ensures compliance and operational excellence is upheld at the store level by partnering with the regional field team

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Additional responsibilities assigned by supervisor related to your position/department
- Adheres to all Company Policies & Procedures and Safety Regulations
- Demonstrates high level of quality work, attendance and appearance
- Adhere to local, state and federal laws
- Ability to be flexible and willing to work extended hours when necessary
- Less than 30% travel may be required as necessary
- Demonstrates high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, peers and management
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: The following are the minimum qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
Education/Experience:
- Attention to detail and proven organizational skills.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to influence, collaborate and engage with teams at all levels.
- Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with all levels inside and outside the organization.
- College degree or equivalent.
- Experience in hiring, developing, and mentoring strong and talented teams.
- Significant experience of leading retail operations for a fashion or luxury retail business.
- Ability to analyze situations and resolve issues with innovation and creativity.
- Experience in delivering budgets and targets.
