The Opportunity
Reporting to the Director of Talent Development, the Assistant Director of EDI Learning will support Southern New Hampshire University’s mission, vision, and goals by leading learning experiences that support our Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) strategy. You will also help deliver learning to support SNHU’s Talent Development suite of learning products. We ask that you be a collaborative partner and team player. You must be experienced at partnering with diverse team members at all levels – including senior leadership – to help promote SNHU’s culture of learning, improve team effectiveness, and guide results.
You'll Get To:
  • Other responsibilities or activities may be assigned at any time with or without notice
  • Consult with a variety of university team members to understand learning needs and collaborate with Talent Development team members to develop learning solutions.
  • Be an equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) subject matter expert to the Talent Development team, to support SNHU’s EDI learning strategy.
  • Partner with Talent Development team members to aid in the delivery of team-based learning experiences.
  • Foster, and maintain positive, trust-based relationships with those across the University.
  • Partner with SNHU’s Office of Diversity and Inclusion and the SNHU Diversity Advisory Council to stay connected to university-wide EDI strategy efforts, share insights, and agree on current EDI practices.
  • Collaborate with members of the Talent Development team to support and deliver professional development and leadership development experiences.
  • Facilitate engaging learning experiences that raise awareness and create sustainable culture change to support SNHU’s equity, diversity and inclusion efforts.
What we're Looking For:
  • Degree(s): Bachelor’s Degree in related field·
  • Ability to coach and facilitate groups or individuals to move toward successful outcomes
  • Demonstrated experience in educating individuals at different places in their individual EDI journeys
  • Driven person who excels in collaborating within a high-capacity team·
  • Experience delivering learning to a variety of audiences, both in a virtual and in-person environment
  • Experience building collaborative relationships with peers, leadership, and teams
  • Experience managing and facilitating learning sessions with different sized groups and diverse audiences
  • Experience navigating challenging conversations with individuals and groups·
  • Demonstrated expertise in equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) training best practices and how to integrate EDI into learning experiences
  • 5 years’ experience as an EDI coach, consultant, and facilitator·
