- Travel required*
- Properly maintain records of account updates and activity within the Sugar CRM platform
- Develop and maintain exceptional knowledge of the company’s services and the value delivered.
- Create detailed business plans to facilitate the attainment of goals & quotas.
- Understand all aspects of IMA internal operations so you can resolve issues quickly and with the correct department or person.
- Build key relationships at multiple levels of the clients organization, and introduce and extend those relationships to key stakeholders within the IMA team – operations, executive leadership, client service, etc.
- Cultivate relationships by providing professional support to enhance customer retention.
- Build a portfolio for each client that includes contracts, relationship map, KPIs, SOWs, pricing, and other key details specific to the client.
- Work with operations to make sure we are meeting clients needs and help operations with suggestions on enhancing performance to do so.
- Work with Sales Support to be ready for contract renewals or price increase discussions and involve the necessary stakeholders in those meetings.
- Communicate to internal groups in a timely manner, the outcome of proposals and conveying the expectations set forth.
- Work with manager to determine if sales should be brought in to help close various opportunities.
- Appropriate travel is required to achieve sales goals.
- Work with implementation team to bring in new clients and make sure they are implemented correctly.
- Manage and resolve issues as they present themselves from the client.
- Work with analytics to build specific reports necessary to monitor the progress of KPIs expected for the client.
- Set specific meetings with clients to discuss the potential for new products to be introduced or presented.
- Bachelors degree, required.
- Masters degree, preferred.
- 3 years of regional or national sales experience calling on top level decision makers, required.
- Industry and product knowledge, required.
- 2-3 years of national account management experience, required.
