SUMMARY: The Director, Financial Planning & Analysis will serve as a key partner supporting the VP FP&A. S/he will be responsible for providing financial leadership and partnership to all enterprise functions and business units by assisting in & developing financial budgets and forecast that effectively allocate and manage resources in support of the Company’s strategic and financial objectives. This includes leading the development of the annual budget cycle and strategic plan (including capital expenditures) as well as fostering an environment of continuous financial analysis and rigor regarding strategies and investment decisions to maximize profitability and resources allocation.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct monthly reviews of financial performance and implement appropriate strategies to achieve objectives in coordination with functional and business unit leaders.
• Act as a business partner and advisor to functions leadership and the business unit Finance VPs by providing guidance, direction, and recommendations to enable delivery of priority objectives in a financial effective manner.
• Ensure effective financial processes across the organization and foster a continuous improvement environment identifying and implementing new or enhanced processes, with current or future tools.
• Oversee and support the successful implementation of OneStream and ensure robust change management.
• Partner with the strategy team to drive and develop ad hoc financial analysis and modeling to assess strategic options and to provide insights that influence strategies and investment decisions to maximize profitability.
• Analyze and project enterprise-wide headcount and associated staff costs in partnership with the People and Culture team.
• Create and manage appropriate metrics to measure growth, improve profitability, control expenses, and enhance productivity.
• Work closely with accounting to ensure month-end close/financial statements and FP&A reporting is consistent.
• Provide guidance on use and administration of the company’s forecasting system, OneStream, and drive simplification and efficiency by leveraging technology for scenario modeling and data driven decision making.
• Prepare and present materials associated with the financial plans in a concise and informative manner to the executive leadership team.

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in business, finance or a related field; or a combination of post high school and equal experience may be substituted for education.

EXPERIENCE: 10 years finance management experience which include audit, GAAP accounting principles, regulatory reporting and a high level of financial systems including system development and implementations.

TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY: Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint; familiar with current financial or cash management software and demonstrated project management skills and/or involvement with a financial system implementation process.

COMPETENCIES: Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to prepare, monitor and administer budgets, as well as the ability to perform financial analysis. Ability to function effectively with, or as part of a team. Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously while meeting assigned deadlines. Ability to develop, improve and streamline processes to meet established goals and objectives. Ability to effectively manage projects that may vary in nature and scope. Ability to mentor, coach, train and/or supervise employees. Knowledge of data analysis techniques and methodology. Knowledge of the concepts, principles and practices of accounting, budgeting and cost control procedures. Knowledge of and ability to apply the concepts, principles and practices of change management.

OTHER: CPA/MBA preferred.

JOB SCOPE: Position impacts multiple business units/segments.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature and the like. Extended use of a computer keyboard, viewing of a computer monitor and the ability to sit for long periods of time.
