Position Summary
Are you an experienced and client-focused process or chemical engineer with a passion for digital solutions? We are seeking a talented Digital Solutions Leader to lead the development and commercialization of state-of-the-art digital tools that revolutionize process separations in manufacturing industries. With your expertise in process engineering and data analysis within digital platforms, you'll play a crucial role in refining our go-to-market strategy and spearheading the implementation of groundbreaking solutions at client sites. Collaborating with our dynamic applications engineering and business development teams, as well as external partners, you will have the opportunity to coordinate and manage data analysis and insight generation for our esteemed clients.
Key Responsibilities
As a valued member of our Commercial Team, your key responsibilities will include:
Gaining in-depth knowledge of processes within each of Solecta's markets.
Harnessing the power of data to drive informed decision-making for both Solecta and our clients.
Developing and validating the value proposition for our predictive analytics offering.
Shaping the strategy, leading development, and executing the go-to-market approach for Solecta's predictive analytics capabilities in collaboration with internal and external technical partners.
Creating cutting-edge tools and processes for data analysis, insights synthesis, and recommendations that significantly enhance our clients' profitability by optimizing resources, throughput, yield, and operational quality.
Utilizing process knowledge and data analytics to diagnose and address various operational challenges.
Continuously driving improvements in tools, processes, and client deliverables to elevate the value and distinctiveness of our offering and approach.
Embracing occasional domestic and international travel (approximately 30-50%) to build strong relationships and drive project success.
Position Qualifications
Experience and Skills:
A Bachelor's or advanced degree in Engineering or equivalent technical field.
10+ years of experience in process operations, with a preference for candidates from relevant industries (Dairy, Food Ingredients, and Life Sciences) or those with membrane separations expertise.
Strong foundational engineering and analytical skills, with experience in Operational Technology/Information Technology (OT/IT) and utilizing digital/analytics platforms (e.g., Tableau, SAS, AWS, Azure) to generate insights and drive improvements in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in implementing or using Machine Learning (ML)/Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions and Industrial Internet of Things (IIOT) technologies.
Detail-oriented and self-driven with exceptional problem-solving abilities.
Outstanding organizational and planning skills, particularly in managing projects in a fast-paced environment.
A creative and open-minded approach to troubleshooting and suggesting improvements.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
