We are looking for an experienced Digital Media Coordinator to support and optimize our digital marketing strategies at Coforma!

As a Digital Media Coordinator at Coforma, your passion for technical detail, knowledge of digital marketing approaches, tools, and trends, and desire to contribute your expertise in a collaborative team setting will enable improved delivery of our core digital strategies and help us reach our target audiences. You’ll thoughtfully manage and oversee our digital platforms, integrate content, lead optimization efforts and strategy shifts, streamline content production, manage paid advertising, report on impact and progress, and coordinate campaigns designed to achieve targeted results and drive brand awareness.
The ideal Digital Media Coordinator will possess strong foundational knowledge and skills in creating and optimizing digital content across a range of platforms and tools, with experience in digital media campaign coordination, SEO, digital advertising, accessibility best practices, and tracking performance across digital strategies and platforms. Reporting to the Senior Director, Marketing and Communications to start, you’ll collaborate closely with our team to help tell the next chapter of the Coforma story by supporting and optimizing all digital content in line with our audiences needs and business goals.
$112,000—$140,000 Base Salary + Benefits + Growth Potential

The desired start date for this role is August 2023.
This is a US-based remote position and some travel will be required.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Coforma’s paid digital advertising within a set budget and in line with approved strategies, reporting progress, and metrics
- Understand the department’s objectives, systems, processes, and goals to be an active contributor to content ideation, coordination, and planning
- Contribute to internal projects and initiatives
- Bring recommendations for creative directions, tools, and concepts to improve digital content campaigns and recommend impactful shifts to strategy, then collaborate on high-quality execution
- Endeavor to continuously improve your craft by proactively seeking feedback and development opportunities
- Optimize, manage, and grow digital asset repositories in collaboration with Coforma’s visual designers and Senior Content Manager
- Support the team’s content velocity and continually improve our processes for organizing and completing the work
- Model and promote a highly collaborative, responsible, and ethical culture through your individual actions
- Proactively build relationships with Coforma’s MarComms team and subject-matter experts as partners in your work
- Thoughtfully integrate brand-aligned digital content using our tools in collaboration with content writers, visual designers, stakeholders, and subject-matter experts
- Accurately track and assess progress on your assigned work, making adjustments as needed
- Demonstrate a passion for learning, ability to create and adapt systems, and ability to collaborate with creative, technical, and business stakeholders and team members
- Support and optimize Coforma’s multi-channel digital marketing and communications strategies and campaigns while working under the leadership of a more senior member of the team
- Report on the progress and success of strategies by compiling key metrics from our digital platforms (including LinkedIn, websites, YouTube, Instagram, and more)
- Contribute to the Marketing and Communications practice through knowledge sharing, participation in rituals, development of documentation, and craft guidance
- Report risks, successes, progress, backlog, and failures in a timely, clear, and efficient manner
- Build and maintain stakeholder, team, and SME relationships across the company and where, relevant, with our partners and collaborators
- Understand and leverage SEO best practices and tools to optimize Coforma’s web properties and digital content, collaborating with the MarComms team on strategy
- Work as a key member of Coforma’s Marketing and Communications team to optimize, integrate, and coordinate the digital content they create
Requirements
- Experience with digital advertising, including Google Ad Words and LinkedIn
- Ability to nurture relationships to help drive prioritization across multiple assignments, working confidently and effectively across our ecosystems

- Experience working with creative and technical stakeholders and team members
- Experience managing milestones, dependencies, communications, and stakeholder expectations
- 4+ years of professional work experience
- Experience with content management systems (CMS)
- Experience with Google analytics and/or G4
- At least 2 years of experience executing digital media campaigns with a focus on storytelling
- Strong competency in situational awareness, situational leadership, and conflict mitigation and resolution
- Experience with content governance workflows and related technologies
- Experience with SEO best practices and strategies, as well as related software (SEMRush, Yoast, or similar)
- Ability to communicate clearly in writing and orally (whether verbally or through assistive technologies/aids)
- Working knowledge of content platforms and software including Adobe, Lightroom, SEMRush, Canva, Monday.com (or similar), Meltwater (or similar), MailChimp, and Yoast
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail
- At least 2 years of experience as a digital media professional
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years experience working on a remote team or remote freelancing
- Experience with email marketing, drip marketing, and link tracking technologies and approaches
- Digital marketing certification a plus
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, flexible, innovative, and attentive to detail
- Demonstrated experience crafting and/or optimizing quality dynamic content across multiple platforms in the government contracting, civic tech, digital services, or IT space
- Experience with and/or willingness to learn how AI technology bolsters content and how to ethically leverage it to optimize your and the team’s work
