Job Description
Overview:
This is a pro-bono volunteer position.

JerseySTEM is looking for talented professionals across our departments to commit time and energy as long-term engagement for our mission to provide STEM education to underrepresented middle school girls.

The Data Analyst will support data collection, analysis, and reporting efforts. Collaborates with the Analytics Team Lead to derive insights and contribute to data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze data using various tools and techniques to identify trends and patterns.
  • Collaborate with the Analytics Team Lead to gather insights and make data-driven decisions.
  • Work with other team members to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Assist in the organization, cleaning, and processing of data related to schools, colleges, and corporations.
  • Contribute to the development of reports and presentations to document data processing procedures and communicate findings.

Qualifications:
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with others.
  • Familiarity with Tableau Prepis a plus.
  • Interest in STEM education and contributing to closing the gender gap in the field.
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or relevant experience.Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, Looker Studio, Power BI, Python, R, or SQL. (We use Tableau and MySQL.)
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Prior experience with research is advantageous.
This is a pro-bono volunteer position.
