Job Description

Data Analyst | 100% Remote

Optomi, in partnership with a global leader in the biotechnology industry, is seeking a Data Analyst to join their team! This candidate will be responsible for interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques and produce ongoing as-needed reports to meet business needs. This candidate will also design and implement automate workflows for business partners to eliminate manual work, as well as document and socialize data models, analytics, data pipelines and workflows of responsible projects. This candidate will enjoy working for a company who has the opportunity to work 100% remote!

What the right candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of prior relevant experience or a master’s degree
  • High attention to detail
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience data analytics, data visualization, reporting, and dash boarding tools, including Power BI or Tableau
  • Ability to tell stories with data and educate effectively to motivate stakeholders to act on recommendations


Responsibilities of the right candidate:

  • Design and implement automate workflows for business partners to eliminate manual work
  • Ad hoc technical assistance for other power users
  • Document and socialize data models, analytics, data pipelines and workflows of responsible projects
