Headquartered in Providence, Rhode Island, our client operates in both Consumer Banking and Commercial Banking, with 1,000 branches in 11 states and a broad range of commercial clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understanding and evaluating data pipelines which collect process and compute different metrics from various financial sources, adhering to quality and development standards.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams for risk review and partnership for architecture, security, design, and development of robust applications for enterprise platforms
- Monitoring and assessing technology risk within data integration solutions for multiple platforms in the company.
- Collaborating with cross functional team members as necessary and verifying solutions are optimal solutions that meet standards and requirements.
- Provide guidance on technical risk assessment tasks, priorities and responsibilities.
- Work in an Agile environment utilizing the SCRUM methodology.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with subject matter experts, business partners, and key project stakeholders
- Understanding application architecture / technical design and articulating the data pipeline solutions to team members.
Desired Profile:
Experience providing risk and security oversight for the following data technologies:
- Strong understanding of data governance principles.
- Experience with Python, PySpark, and SQL.
- Experience or knowledge of secure DevSecOps practices and technologies including Jenkins, Bitbucket, Git, Nexus, CI/CD pipeline.
- Experience working with big data and integrated data solutions using public cloud, AWS preferred.
- Experience or knowledge of authentication/authorization oAuth2, PING, SAML, SSO, OpenID, IAM, 2FA, Active Directory and ADFS.
- Experience or knowledge of streaming frameworks/platforms like Kafka, Kinesis, SQS or Storm.
- Technical working experience in data engineering / data transformation / big data and solution architecture / other related.
- Understanding of best practice and design methodology in creating and refactoring APIs and microservices and working with event driven architecture.
- Experience or knowledge of knowledge of front-end frameworks such as Angular, React or Vue.
- Experience with AWS Cloud (S3, Glue, Redshift, etc.).
- Experience or knowledge of designing, developing, securing and consuming web services.
- Experience or knowledge of working on Openshift, Docker, Kubernetes, or other container technologies.
- Experience or knowledge of building highly available and fault tolerant enterprise software
- Should have worked on Agile scrum or Kanban methodology.
- Experience with ETL tools such as Datastage, Informatica, Talend etc.
- Experienced/knowledge in Scripting language (shell scripting, SQL, PL/SQL, Python, Java , Spark, Scala).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline; A bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.
- Preferred: Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related discipline
