Data Center Manager Jobs

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Center Manager who specializes in managing data center operations, with expertise in HyperView, Dell Storage, and Palo Alto Networking. As a Data Center Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our data center infrastructure, ensuring its efficient and secure operation. You will play a critical role in maintaining high availability, performance, and security of our data center environment.

Responsibilities:

• Palo Alto Networking: Configure, monitor, and maintain Palo Alto networking devices, such as firewalls and switches, to ensure network security and performance within the data center environment.
• Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of the data center infrastructure, identifying bottlenecks and implementing improvements to ensure optimal operation.
• Capacity Planning: Conduct capacity planning to anticipate future resource requirements and ensure scalability and performance of the data center infrastructure.
• Data Center Management: Take full ownership of the data center infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, networking equipment, and associated technologies.
• Disaster Recovery: Develop and execute disaster recovery plans and procedures, including regular backups, off-site replication, and periodic disaster recovery drills.
• Security Management: Implement and maintain robust security measures, including access controls, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and security patches.
• HyperView Expertise: Utilize your in-depth knowledge of HyperView to manage and monitor the data center infrastructure, including physical and virtual servers, storage arrays, and associated components.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of the data center infrastructure, processes, and procedures, and provide regular reports on system performance, incidents, and capacity utilization.
• Dell Storage Administration: Administer Dell storage systems, configure and manage storage arrays, implement data protection and disaster recovery mechanisms, and optimize storage performance.
• Incident Management: Respond to and resolve data center incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures to minimize future incidents.

Requirements:

• Extensive expertise in HyperView for data center management and monitoring.
• Solid experience in incident management, root cause analysis, and problem-solving.
• Proven experience in managing data center operations, preferably in a large-scale enterprise environment.
• Familiarity with performance monitoring and optimization tools.
• Proficiency in Palo Alto Networking devices, such as firewalls and switches, for network security and performance management.
• Excellent understanding of data center best practices, including capacity planning, disaster recovery, and security.
• Strong knowledge of Dell Storage systems, including configuration, administration, and performance optimization.
