Overview A Data Center is a facility used to house computer systems and associated components, such as telecommunications and storage systems. It generally includes redundant or backup power supplies, redundant data communications connections, environmental controls (e.g., air conditioning, fire suppression) and various security devices. Detailed Job Description Data Center professionals are responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Data Center. This includes monitoring and maintaining the physical infrastructure, such as power, cooling, and security systems, as well as the software and hardware components of the Data Center. Data Center professionals must be knowledgeable in the areas of networking, storage, and server technologies, and must be able to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise. Job Skills Required• Knowledge of server, storage, and networking technologies
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Knowledge of data center infrastructure, such as power, cooling, and security systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in a Data Center environment
• Experience with server, storage, and networking technologies
• Knowledge of data center infrastructure, such as power, cooling, and security systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues

• 5+ years of experience in a Data Center environment
