Who we are
Shellpoint Mortgage Servicing (SMS) is one of America’s top-five non-bank mortgage-servicing companies. What is mortgage servicing? Our clients are businesses that own mortgage loans (such as banks and real estate investment firms). On their behalf, we manage (or “service”) their loan portfolios, which means that we collect homeowners’ mortgage payments, pay their tax and insurance bills, and help homeowners in default to get current.

Primary Function
The Manager Data Integrity will perform complex analytical data analyses for all types of mortgage loan products, data, and processes. They will be responsible for ensuring that servicing data is maintained through the use of advanced analytical tools to provide consistency of loan servicing and of data between and within internal systems. The Manager will also be responsible for the administration of the Data Integrity Management System by working closely with database managers and IT developers to manage rule implementation, corrections, and updates.

Principal Duties
  • Review data to evaluate, create, and manage the implementation of data validation rules.
  • Responsible for oversight of an offshore support team.
  • Manage rule implementation, corrections, and updates.
  • Performs related duties as assigned by management.
  • Build and maintain highly effective working relationships with internal stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Lead a team of associates responsible for rule inventory.
  • Collaborate with database managers and IT developers.
  • Act as the administrator of the Data Integrity Management System.
  • Create and/or review reports that evaluate rules to are implemented, revised, or corrected.
Education and Experience Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience with Servicing Director System (preferred)
  • 6-8 years related experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in mortgage servicing operations
  • 5+ years of experience in the mortgage industry
  • 5+ years of experience in SQL.
  • 3+ years of management or supervisory experience, including consensus building, hiring, coaching, training, coaching, and performing performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
  • Bachelor’s degree
Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements
  • Expert skills in MS Excel, including the ability to utilize the following functions: V-Lookup, H-Lookup, Concatenating formulas, Conditional formatting, and Pivot Tables.
