About The Role
The Core Operations Manager will oversee the operations central to running Core, Chief’s flagship service. Core is a service for members to meet with a group of 8-12 peers to work through their deepest professional challenges and build a personal board of advisors.
The Core Operations Manager is responsible for managing the team that supports the delivery of Core to members and ensures a best-in-class experience nationwide.
What You’ll Do
  • Constantly identifies and drives process improvements that result in a better member experience and/or increased operational efficiency. Delegates subsequent next steps as applicable.
  • Owns KPI tracking and analysis. Reports data up to Core Leadership regularly; advises on next steps based on data; may sometimes present to other Core/Chief stakeholders.
  • Oversees the Core group formation process, including signing off on all Core groups and partnering with the product and engineering teams on product improvements
  • Manages the team that executes operational changes to the Core experience, including scheduling and rescheduling of meetings, and transitions from one group to another.
  • Partners with the product team to ideate on tech-forward solutions that optimize the member experience.
  • Works with Core Leadership to set quarterly goals for their functional area that ladder up to larger business initiatives and tracks team progress towards them.
  • Supports Core leadership by leading various strategic projects from planning to implementation to assessment, including requirements gathering, building a timeline, managing resources, coordinating pilots, change management, gathering and reporting data patterns, and integration into day-to-day work.
  • Owns and resolves support cases and escalations related to Core operations. Works cross functionally with other internal teams to arrive at solutions that are rooted in providing an excellent customer experience.
  • Directly manages Core Operations Associates and/or Specialists, overseeing day-to-day responsibilities as well as long-term professional growth.

  • Excellent analytical skills; ability to work with data and pull out high-level trends
  • Detail-oriented and hyper-organized, you have a system to keep track of anything and everything
  • Ability to work cross functionally and manage multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to be agile and pivot quickly. Comfortable managing ambiguity for yourself and others
  • Previous experience managing and developing direct reports
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The base salary for this role is: $125,000.00
