Contract Ux Researcher Jobs

At Cake & Arrow, you’ll work with a passionate team of super-talented creative professionals to bring projects to life.

The ideal researcher will be our Go-to Resource for creating meaningful and engaging experiences for the customers. You will collaborate with the team and key stakeholders in leveraging insight data to deliver products that provide exceptional value to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Review existing internal and external impacts, feedback and strategies to understand business and employee contexts
• Hold discovery and alignment work sessions to engage HR team in design thinking practices, frameworks and foundation
• Facilitate a pilot feedback loop journey based on research findings
• Conduct generative, evaluative user research to develop foundational understanding of employee problems
• Define target mindset based on discovery and research insights and prioritize one for feedback pilot
• Assist in facilitating interviews
• Share research finding and insights to catalog learning and key takeaways

Skills & Qualifications

• Comfortable assisting in workshop facilitation
• Exceptionally Customer-focused
• Experience or familiarity in insurance or financial services is a plus
• Must be able to manage projects efficiently
• 3+ years of experience in UX research
• Highly collaborative
• Has an ability to translate research finding into insights that inform enterprise priorities

Location

• Remote, but candidate must be flexible working EST time
• Preference for New York based
• Eligible to work in the US and US-based

Timeline

• 6 weeks to start mid-late July, part time hours
• 20-25hours/week
