Job Description

Fantastic Company has REMOTE Contract Administrator Position Available


The Contract Administrator position will provide support, counsel and advice to the Legal Department including drafting and negotiating customer contracts, advising operations group on all types of substantive commercial matters, managing commercial disputes and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

· Primary responsibility will be preparing, reviewing and negotiating various commercial and transactional agreements as well as working collaboratively w/internal clients on a variety of legal matters

· Expected to provide support to and collaborate with the following teams within the Company: Procurement, Operations, Marketing, Real Estate and IT

· Responsible for identifying risks and proposing alternative structures to mitigate risks involved in transactions and contracts

· Position may involve some management of commercial disputes including interaction with outside counsel


Skills

· Sound judgment and effective negotiating skills

· Proven background identifying and understanding legal issues, assessing and managing business and legal risks

· Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills

· Detail oriented w/excellent follow-up practices

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree required

· 5+ yrs experience with commercial contracts, drafting contacts and letters, litigations and other dispute resolution matters as well as regulatory and compliance issues

· Preference for experience in Logistics industry, Supply Chain Management, or other related field
