Computational Materials Engineer, Cell Engineering

Battery cells are the common denominator for every Tesla product. Our product requirements demand ground-up cell architectures with state-of-the-art performance, manufactured at volumes that are orders of magnitude higher than the products they power. The Cell Materials & Product Development Team is looking for a Computational Materials Engineer to create multiscale modeling towards accelerating materials development and elucidating critical structure-process-property relationships as we scale these materials into electrode and cell. This is a highly cross-functional role that will require working across upstream cell design and materials development, modeling & CAE, downstream cell manufacturing and everything in-between.
