Freelance Linguist Developer Jobs

WORK SCHEDULE: Flexible - availability of 20 hours per week

Role Summary

The goal of the project is to maintain and improve the client’s grammar checker. This includes prescriptive grammar rules and conventions in addition to inclusive language, which includes flagging outdated terms or terms that are considered offensive.

The task will involve making revisions and updates to the language’s grammar. The Linguist Developer role will consist of implementation of rules to detect and correct grammatical and stylistic issues in text based on linguists' input.

Role Requirements

• Experience in linguistics.
• BA in Computational linguistics or degree in Linguistics or Corpus Linguistics with working knowledge of scripting languages, use of regular expressions and git.
