Compliance Analyst Jobs

Overview:

The Compliance Analyst will assist with communication with the different regulatory entities and make sure that all information requests from those regulatory entities are adequately understood, documented, and submitted for development in a proper and timely manner. The successful candidate will have at least two years of working in a regulatory environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the compliance submission and follow-up processes for all regulatory and compliance organizations we must submit to currently and in the future.
• Reconcile and validate reports for discrepancies and report to business units and the data team for further analysis or correction.
• Collaborate with the accounting department to proactively reconcile data prepared for NISS and other sources for our multiple insurance carriers, both internal and external
• Coordinate with partners and third-party entities data gathering efforts to file with the National Association of Insurance Commissioners yearly.
• Identify periodic compliance reporting and submit requests for automation.
• Coordinate with internal departments to obtain customer complaint statistics required for our Insurance Carriers for Market Conduct Annual Statement.
• Maintain a deep understanding of the submission processes for each organization and monitor/manage/modify the submission process according to new and updated requirements.
• Evaluate updates to Compliance Forms, document any changes, and share with the Data Team for implementation.
• Coordinate data gathering with multiple constituents and related companies to submit to the National Independent Statistical Service

Qualifications:

• Easily adapt to new, different, or changing situations, requirements, or priorities
• Experience with interpreting compliance requests and translating into data needs
• People, goal, and deadline oriented.
• Two years of working experience in a compliance environment
• Excellent communicator

Preferred:

• Ability to write queries in MS SQL
• Experience with Property and Casualty Insurance
• BS degree
