Job Description
Joining Collibra’s Community team


Sitting within the Brand and Community Marketing team, and reporting to the Senior Manager, Community, the Community Coordinator plays a vital role in fostering a strong and engaged community for Colllibra. You will be responsible for supporting and executing strategies to promote active participation, facilitate communication, and build relationships within the Data Citizens Community. The Community Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for community members, addressing their needs, resolving concerns, and serving as a guide to help members find their path within the community.


Community Coordinators At Collibra Are Responsible For


  • Running community reports and using analytics to identify opportunities for improved engagement
  • Maintaining and improving on processes, documentation, and any project management relative to the programs
  • Maintaining and updating a community editorial content calendar
  • Building relationships and interacting with Data Citizens Community members and internal stakeholders. This includes welcoming new members, answering community questions, facilitating conversations and collaborating cross-functionally to drive internal participation in community initiatives. The Community Coordinator is the voice of the community, escalating member feedback, issues, concerns and trends
  • Managing the community tech stack, operations and processes


You Have


  • Tech-savvy and are able to learn new tools quickly
  • Experience working with and interpreting data and metrics
  • 2 years+ project management experience
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2-5 years previous online community experience

  • Adaptable and looking to grow in your role, always striving to learn more
  • A strong skillful communicator, both verbal and written
  • Able to drive engagement in conversations both on and offline
  • Interested in learning the backend/admin side of platforms
  • A great listener, empathetic, with well-developed interpersonal skills


Measures Of Success Are


In your first three months you will:


  • Build relationships: Establish connections with key stakeholders, influencers, and active community members
  • Monitor community health: Track key metrics such as active users, response rates, and sentiment to assess the community's overall health and identify areas for improvement
  • Increase engagement: Encourage community participation and interaction through discussions, polls, or events
  • Familiarize yourself with the community: Understand the community's purpose, values, and dynamics
  • Identify and nurture community members who become enthusiastic advocates and promoters of the community


Within your third month, you will...


  • Foster a positive community culture: Encourage inclusivity, respect, and collaboration among community members
  • Implement feedback mechanisms: Establish channels for gathering feedback and insights from the community to drive continuous improvement
  • Measure community growth: Track metrics related to community growth, such as new member acquisition and retention rates
  • Strengthen community engagement: Increase the frequency and quality of interactions within the community
  • Improve user satisfaction: Assess member satisfaction through surveys or feedback loops and implement actions to address any concerns or issues


Within your sixth month, you will...


  • Celebrate milestones: Recognize and celebrate community milestones and achievements to reinforce a positive community culture and encourage ongoing participation
  • Drive user-generated content: Encourage and facilitate user-generated content creation, which enhances community engagement and strengthens the community's value
  • Provide valuable insights: Generate reports and insights on community trends, sentiment, and user needs, which can inform strategic decision-making within the organization
  • Foster a sense of ownership: Empower community members to take an active role in shaping the community's direction, initiatives, and content
  • Demonstrate sustained community growth: Show consistent increases in member acquisition, engagement, and retention


Compensation for This Role


The standard base salary range for this position is $88,000 - $132,000 per year. This position is not eligible for additional commission-based compensation. Salary offers are based on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, and location.


In addition to base salary, we offer equity ownership at every level, bonus potential, a Flex Fund monthly stipend, pension/401k plans, and more.
