As a Community Associate, you will be responsible for resolving order disputes and facilitating returns in a timely manner. This is a critical role on the Poshmark team, as the resolutions that are initiated by you directly affect the buyer and seller experience on the platform. You will tackle high volumes of complex buyer and seller disputes with the goal of creating a fair and simple experience for users.

  • Exercises strong decision making and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
  • Gain knowledge of the Poshmark community
  • Help with side projects and administrative support as needed
  • Engage with Poshmark users in a friendly, helpful, and patient manner via email
  • Respond to user support requests regarding dispute cases accurately and rapidly through email
  • May be required to work on holidays and overtime as needed
  • Review dispute cases filed by buyers
  • Execute decisions to fairly resolve disputes following Poshmark’s return policies
  • Educate users on Poshmark return policies and guidelines
  • Become familiar with top fashion brands and designers
  • Investigate all aspects of an order to assist in determining a resolution
6-Month Accomplishments
  • Meet daily case goals on a consistent basis
  • Provide resolutions based on guidelines and policies
  • Independently handle Tier 1 cases with efficiency and accuracy
12+ Month Accomplishments
  • Begin providing mentorship and guidance to new team members and peers
  • Begin contributing to team projects
  • Navigate Tiers 1 & 2 cases with ease
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Believes that helping users is crucial to the growth and success of the company
  • Knowledge and/or background working with designer fashion brands a plus
  • At least one year of customer service experience preferred
  • Positive attitude with the ability to turn a negative into a positive
  • Flawless attention to detail and great organizational skills
  • Passionate about community and customer service
  • Candidates must be able to work a Thursday-Monday schedule.
Salary Range
$34,500—$47,000 USD
