Job Title: Community Manager & Content Creator (Part-time)

Job Overview:

We are seeking part-time Community Managers & Content Creators to join our growing startup, lifeschool. In this role, you will be responsible for actively recruiting and engaging with potential users, both individually and as a group, while also creating marketing content and managing our social media presence. You will play a key role in finding and inviting people who want to learn to cook and suggesting how to use our platform and AI to help them. The ideal candidate will represent the company's brand effectively, accelerating user acquisition, engagement, and retention through successful social network campaigns and developing a strategy to execute all external communications. As a successful candidate, you will be passionate about cooking, personal growth, and community building.


Responsibilities:

  1. Have a deep understanding of the company's products and goals.
  2. Actively recruit and engage with potential users on social networks and other platforms.
  3. Provide guidance and recommendations on how to use the lifeschool platform effectively.
  4. Organize and facilitate community events, workshops, and webinars.
  5. Build and maintain relationships with users and influencers in the cooking and personal growth communities.
  6. Create and implement compelling marketing content, including articles, blog posts, and social media updates, to promote the lifeschool platform and its offerings.
  7. Manage and grow the company's social media presence, ensuring consistent branding and messaging.
  8. Work cross-functionally with different organizations.
  9. Monitor and respond to user feedback and questions on various channels.
  10. Track data on the effectiveness of campaigns and community engagement.
  11. Attend regular in-person meetings with the team in the San Francisco Bay Area.


Requirements:

  1. Must have a green card or US citizenship.
  2. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Marketing or Communication.
  3. 3-5 years of relevant work experience in community management, content creation, or a similar role.
  4. Located in the San Francisco Bay Area and able to attend in-person meetings.
  5. Passionate about cooking and personal growth, with experience cooking daily.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong written and oral abilities.
  7. Strong social media and networking skills.
  8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  9. Experienced leader and collaborator.
  10. Experience with analytics and reporting tools is a plus.
