Overview
Deutsche Bank is looking for an energetic and innovative Vice President Media Relations to join the Deutsche Bank Americas communications team and help lead our internal communications efforts. You will help to further build upon positive momentum that that our businesses are having in the US and continue to inspire and challenge our colleagues in the region through effective and innovative engagement strategies. The key focus of the role is on internal communications, but it will also involve content creation and external relations. This is a fantastic opportunity for a media relations communication professional, with relevant experience looking to make the next step in their career, widen out their experience and expertise, and be part of an effective team in one of the largest financial institutions in the world.

What You’ll Do

• Implement internal Communications vision and strategy in support of Deutsche Bank’s group-wide strategy
• Help supervise internal content and content formats, ensuring that the distributed content is aligned with the overarching strategic communication plan
• Work with global divisional leadership and divisional Communications Business Partners to identify, plan and execute an internal communication approach using a suite of fit-for-purpose communication channels including organizing Town Halls
• Help prepare talking points for internal events and communications
• Develop and execute global / regional / group wide communications programs and activities with clear, consistent key messages, leveraging multiple communication channels, in accordance with the Bank’s policies, editorial standards and brand guidelines

How You’ll Lead

• You will work extensively with regional management and communications colleagues, and create compelling communications strategies to drive internal engagement

Skills You’ll Need

• Excellent knowledge of evolving communications tools
• Extensive experience in Communications, Journalism, or related fields
• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Experience managing significant communications-related projects

Expectations
It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York City office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is 120K to 185K. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
