The Assistant Manager, Brand & Influencer Partnerships will be responsible for securing, managing, and measuring strategic relationships for our clients across influencer and talent relations and special events to help elevate their brand awareness and ultimately attract new clients and customers. The role will require an integrated approach across public relations, social media, and marketing, working closely with our internal team and our clients in order to create impact that meaningfully achieves their goals. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work while delivering under tight deadlines and achieving success for our clients.

Responsibilities:
The Assistant Manager, Brand & Influencer Partnerships can expect to work approximately 40 hours a week, which will include but is not limited to the following responsibilities:
Outreach & Coordination- 80%
- Work closely with the account team to develop and implement national and regional communications strategies that drive engagement and awareness
- Develop client-ready press materials including pitches, press kits, fact sheets, presentations, and more
- Other duties as necessary
- Help plan and staff in-person and virtual media events as needed
- Negotiate and manage contracts, timelines, and budgets with influencers and partners
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance to ensure they are meeting their objectives and KPIs, and develop strategies to optimize partnerships for maximum ROI.
- Produce and manage an editorial calendar and collaboration schedule for all external partnerships
- Create and maintain influencer contact lists and outreach trackers
- Coordinate services, media mailings, seeding,and gifting
- Serve as the community manager for client's digital campaign initiatives
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in influencer marketing and brand partnerships to consider and implement them into our outreach strategy
- Identify, build relationships, and execute outreach with influencers, bloggers, celebrities, experts, talent agencies, and events
- Help ever-evolve angles, stories and pitches to further client’s profile, products, and services
Account Management - 20%
- Maintain client status updates and pitch tracking efforts
- Update the team regularly on progress
- Manage all contracting, invoicing, and content creation scheduling
- Serve as the lead on all influencer relations and partnerships for the agency and its clients
- Work in coordination with the agency’s account team to ensure client satisfaction
- Produce monthly reports and plans for clients alongside the team
Requirements:
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including PR, marketing and sales
- High degree of familiarity with lifestyle media, influencer relations, social media, and the intersection of all of the above
- Excellent writing, editing, and intrapersonal skills
- Interest in creative industries such as beauty, travel, personal care, tech, wellness, home, etc.
- Preferred college degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, or a related field
- Flexibility and willingness to travel is required (~10%)
- Receives feedback gracefully and eager to solve problems
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects at one time
- A personal computer, smartphone, and access to high-speed internet, as well as a vehicle/transportation for events in the South Florida area
- Loves the rhythm of a fast-paced environment
- Displays a sense of urgency and delivers well-ahead of deadlines
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with experience in contract negotiation and partnership management.
- Extremely responsive to influencers, partners, clients, and team members
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform strategic decisions.
- Able to self-manage and keep projects on track
- Able to hold themselves accountable in a virtual work environment
- Possesses at least three years of agency experience and/or portfolio of past earned media coverage, influencer coverage, or writing clips
