Job Description

Job Title: Cloud Office IT Administrator (Microsoft Expert)
Location: San Francisco, Bay Area, Hybrid
Salary range: Base $100,000 per year, plus performance bonus up to $50,000 per year (paid quarterly), plus benefits.

As Cloud Office IT Administrator, you are responsible for multiple Microsoft 365 instances, Windows based users and some Windows servers. Your contribution will help to manage business IT environments, support end users, organize on/off boarding of their team members, help manage compliance, assets, vendors, and various projects. You seamlessly fit with each customers environment and culture and make them feel like you are part of their team instead of a vendor. You know how to communicate professionally in high pressure situations, including with C-level executives. You will be encouraged to step out of your comfort zone and embrace new challenges. Even while tending to multiple projects concurrently, you pay attention to details and organize your tasks and deadlines. Your daily routine and main responsibilities will include:

  • Elaborate the resolution, maintenance, and update guides and procedures.
  • Facilitate and monitor creation, update, suspension of user accounts in various cloud applications.
  • Assistance with compliance management and SOC2 related requirements.
  • Manage various business IT environments, cloud, and on-prem.
  • Implement procedural and policy changes to improve operational efficiency.
  • Manage global hardware inventory and monitor software inventory.
  • Coordinate provisioning and de-provisioning of computers, following strict security protocols.
  • Setup Microsoft 365 SSO for various cloud apps including SCIM provisioning.
  • Project management and project support with customer-based teams.
  • Specify equipment for users based on roles.
  • Design, implement, analyze, and enforce customer owned IT policies and procedures.
  • Create guides and documentation related to your processes and procedures.
  • Use various support tools with excellent efficiently.
  • Validate proper setup of applications and tools for new hires.
  • Supervise equipment retrieval from terminated users.
  • Tier 2+ helpdesk support and ticket processing related to environments you manage.
  • Manage user on/offboarding
    • Specify equipment for users based on roles.
    • Validate proper setup of applications and tools for new hires.

  • Manage various Microsoft 365 environments with focus on security and automation.
  • Monitor quality of service and coordination in incidents/requests, paying special attention to the quick resolution and attention of incidents based on their categorization.


What you bring to the table:

  • You feel driven and are dependable in a remote work environment.
  • You have experience with project/task management in Wrike or equivalent.
  • You have excellent communication skills across all channels, including with C-level executives.
  • You have a talent for dedicated end-user support and remain calm even during tricky problem resolutions.
  • Other Microsoft Certifications
  • Microsoft 365 Certified Enterprise Administrator Expert
  • You are a meticulous time- and record keeper with an eye on multiple deadlines.
  • Mastering new tools and apps comes natural to you.
  • Your location and country of citizenship: United States

  • Candidates with additional professional certifications are preferred.
