Job Description
Position Summary: This position is responsible for overseeing the software and systems used throughout the Company, to ensure reliable and scalable functionality.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities


  • Liaising with staff in other departments and with external contacts
  • Specialists are expected to operate independently and autonomously, requiring minimal supervision.
  • Manage and maintain the organization’s AWS cloud infrastructure, configuring and optimizing cloud services, and ensuring the smooth operation of InTune, Defender, and the Microsoft 365 suite
  • Serves as a role model in displaying initiative and assertiveness with positive problem-solving techniques and willingly performs non-assigned duties as needed
  • Provide support as a resource backup for hardware and infrastructure
  • Self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
  • Provide technical support, training, and direction to staff to ensure effective use of systems, including the development of training materials
  • Install, manage, and maintain all software and cloud systems throughout the organization
  • Specialists are expected to manage their own time, projects, and priorities consistently & effectively, and exhibit self-sufficient problem-solving skills within and outside of their assigned function.
  • Acts as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for AWS cloud infrastructure, Microsoft 365 suite, and other cloud platforms
  • Participate in the on-call rotation and planned weekend work as required
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Respond and manage requests using a ticketing system
  • Ensure departmental and personal projects/deliverables are executed on time and to an exceptional quality standard
  • Travel as required
  • Track and maintain technology equipment using an asset management system

Required Education And Experience


  • Required: 4-year degree -OR- 2-year degree with five years job-related experience
  • Preferred: At least four years of network/systems administration, systems support or related experience
  • Preferred: Knowledge or understanding of database administration
  • Preferred: Experience or a solid understanding of cloud technologies such as AWS, Microsoft 365, or other cloud platforms

Physical Demands And Working Conditions


  • Ability to lift or push a minimum of 20 pounds
  • Ability to sit for an extended period. Able to be mobile throughout Team Quality Services facilities and customer locations
  • Occasional participation in events outside of regular office hours may be necessary that may include attendance at community meetings and events
  • Travel to TQS customer or service locations may be required
  • Ability to work with and around others, up to 2/3 of the work period
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a scanner, computer keyboard, mouse, and other computer components and software
  • Candidate must comply with all customer and service location requirements, including, but not limited to, vaccination status. Employment for this position is contingent on the candidate obtaining and maintaining all customer and service location requirements, which may be subject to change at any time.

Compensation


Base salary $50,000 annually.
