Location

This role will be fully remote in the initial stages. A significant amount of local and national travel, with occasional international travel, will be required.


About the Role


We are excited to launch in the US, and we are looking for a Client Success Lead to kick-off our on-the-ground efforts. This role provides an opportunity to build and shape the Client Success function in the US, as the inaugural team member, where you will manage multiple work streams. You will oversee all campaign revenue delivery, provide managed service post-sale execution for brands and manage the delivery of our self-serve buying engine. Brand retention rates, always on deals, and client satisfaction scores will be the measure of success for this role. You will also bolster our sales teams efforts by providing on-the-ground support to both brands and agencies, so a demonstrated history of sales is key. This is an excellent opportunity to shape and run the brand-building function of a rapidly growing and disruptive business with a mission to change the world for good. You will set the standard for client success, setting the tone for WeAre8 US.


About You

You identify as someone who actively wants to do things differently and work somewhere your talents are valued and are being used on a digital product that stands for good and actively gives back to people and the planet. You are a natural networker/connector with a warm personality, excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills and you will have extensive experience in media, marketing, advertising, tech and digital sectors. You’ll also feel at home presenting to clients in the media and advertising space, with a proven track record of communicating effectively and delivering results. Comfort with sales materials and an ability to pitch to individuals and groups of varying levels is important, so this will be second nature to you.


Responsibilities

  • Own all client and agency contact once a campaign has been sold, delivering full end to end execution; including pulling together agreements, kick off emails and calls, campaign set up and implementation in our Sustainable Ad Manager - intelligent (SAM-i), optimizing to client KPI and all client and agency reporting
  • Build KPIs focused on brand retention and the social and environmental impact of brand campaigns
  • Proactively look for opportunities to optimize a brand campaign to their KPIs
  • Conduct scheduled and frequent check-ins and business reviews with key clients and agencies as required
  • Provide clear reporting and communications to both brands, agencies and internal stakeholders, ensuring all internal metrics and templates are up to date
  • Be the voice of our clients to internal stakeholders, sharing client feedback and insights to the Chief Commercial Officer, Sales, Product & Marketing to optimize WeAre8’s platform and opportunities to collaborate
  • Drive automation where possible and own all end of campaign reporting for clients and agencies, working with sales on Post Campaign Analysis decks to drive rebookings
  • Provide clear reporting and communications to brands, agencies and internal teams
  • Continue to develop best practice for effective campaign execution, delivery and reporting for managed service and self service accounts
  • Delivering post-sales execution for brand direct campaigns, ensuring strategic and operational best practice, value and ultimately retention and growth of WeAre8’s commercial partners
  • Oversee, and manage, post sales client relations on all client patches and agencies
  • Work with the Chief Marketing Office and the Chief Commercial Officer on a strategy to increase repeat campaigns through the self-serve buying ending, SAM-i
  • Work with brands and agencies on monthly revenue reconciliation reports and ensure smooth invoicing
  • Interview, hire and manage a Client Success team full of high-performing individuals as we expand
  • Support sales teams conversations with brands and agencies, maintaining and closing deals with media agencies and brands of all sizes - both in-person and virtually
  • Oversee and monitor campaign performance, react fast when campaigns are underperforming and work closely with the Chief Commercial Officer and the sales team to manage client and agency expectations
  • Drive a culture of inclusion and positivity, and commitment to personal growth


Qualifications & skills required for this role

  • Hands-on experience in the media, PR, social media, digital, or advertising arenas
