Job Description

The position is open to all Technical College System of Georgia employees only that meet the minimum qualifications below.

This is a Hybrid position with some travel Required.

The Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) is seeking highly qualified applicants for their fulltime Client Services Coordinator in the Office of Technical Education/ Secondary Initiatives. This position is responsible for managing and processing day-to-day operational functions under the Student Affairs, Client Services initiative. In collaboration with the technical colleges, this position will be responsible for one or more services including verification, dataload, loan & grant management, satisfactory academic progress, return to title IV, along with providing support in veteran affairs, registrar, admissions, risk reviews and other future client services initiatives.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Works in conjunction with the Compliance Team to conduct quality assurance risk assessments after each semester and participate in yearly peer risk assessment visits.
  • Assist with federal and state default prevention plans and file submissions.
  • Manage financial aid verification process in CampusLogic, which includes student and parent communication, document collection campaigns, review of files selected for verification, resolve conflicting data, manage ISIR file data, upload ISIR’s and transmit rejects/corrections.
  • Assist with the development, implementation, and execution of the client services veteran affairs support. This includes reviewing/approving application documents and certifying initial enrollment/hours for applicants.
  • Assist technical colleges with development and implementation of data standards, compliance, and policies & procedures related to Financial Aid.
  • Ability to resolve file rejects and/or COD disbursement issues in a timely manner.
  • Provide college assistance with the review of Satisfactory Academic Progress.
  • Provide exemplarity customer service through CampusLogic, electronic correspondence and other methods of communication.
  • Review SAP appeals, Professional Judgements, Default Clearance Letters, and other requested documentation for accuracy before accepting for review and processing.
  • Works collaboratively with CampusLogic to develop new and/or alter existing forms.
  • Participate in pilot programs such as client services (FA), DegreeWorks (Registrar) & Recruitment (Admissions) training programs for student affairs.
  • Other student affairs related duties as assigned
  • Develop a data standard playbook along with process and procedures for client services.
  • Provide loan management services for colleges. Importing ISIR’s, Master Promissory Note and Entrance Counseling file loading, response files, weekly/monthly reconciliations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 2-year experience using BANNER and federal ED systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 2-3 years of experience in financial aid verification.
  • Knowledge and experience of the dataload process and understanding of federal loan regulations.
  • Minimum of 2-year experience Knowledge of CampusLogic Student Forms.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to manage multiple projects to meet deadlines
  • Experience working within the TCSG system and/or the system colleges
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to various stakeholders
  • Self-starter that can multi-task and work independently.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

  • Exceptional critical thinking skills demonstrated by the ability to analyze information, evaluate results, and facilitate resolution for compliance
  • Ability to work as part of a statewide higher education community recognizing diverse needs of individual colleges
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional and productive working relationships with staff at all levels at the college and the system office
  • Ability to read and interpret complex regulatory documents and assist in evaluating their impact on policy and procedures
  • A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel through the state of Georgia will be required. Flexible work schedule (remote/on-site) with limited travel to colleges and conferences.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess complex processes, solve problems and multi-task in conjunction with various departments
