We are currently assessing the market for top talent capable of making our Client Partner team. The right candidate will be a senior sales executive with experience and demonstrable success selling technology services. They will possess a high intellect with a sense of urgency that combined drives them to succeed. The right candidate intuitively understands that success is only possible with communication and collaboration. The Client Partner’s approach of respect and appreciation in working with others defines the positive contribution to our culture. Client Partners are responsible for developing a book of business within geography, named accounts, and existing relationships with support from Fenway Group competency leads. Client Partners will present the Fenway Group value proposition. Based on merit, The opportunity exists to grow into a leadership position.
The expectations of a Client Partner are:
- Track and report the status of metrics.
- Team with delivery leads to formulating solutions collaboratively.
- Be an ambassador of Fenway Group both internally and externally.
- Direct and team with delivery leads to collaborate on sales pursuits.
- Exceed revenue and profitability targets.
- Display through the application the understanding that relationships and authenticity nurture culture.
- Create and communicate presentations customized to client expectations.
- Lead by example with exceptional communication skills.
- Develop a book of business that is consistent with the strategic vision of Fenway Group.
- Measure success by revenue and profitability targets and client satisfaction.
- Develop and manage an individual book of business.
- Apply a positive approach to navigating the complexity of business challenges.
- Inspire delivery teams and all fellow Fenway Group personnel.
- Capture sales process activities in Salesforce.
- Foster trust and rapport with Business Development and Operations leadership.
The Client Partner measured responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain contact with top decision-makers at named clients.
- Drives business development discussions with client call to action; identifies and pursues new business opportunities based on the situation presented by the client.
- Serve as a point of escalation for engagement teams and the client when needed.
- Continuously prospect for new business.
- In conjunction with delivery leads, manage engagement risk. Oversee engagements in named accounts.
- Identify and close technology services opportunities within an assigned geography and targeted accounts.
- Drive revenue and related profit growth within the account.
- Account management, including developing account strategy and plan.
- Provide the business rationale and risk assessment for investing in the account.
- Work with resource services for the staging of resources per engagement.
- Working with competency leads to structuring/finalizing the project and proposal approach.
The qualified Client Partner candidates will have the following:
- You have a superior set of analytical skills with a keen sense of urgency.
- You have a demonstrable history of delivering against goals in an evolving IT professional services environment.
- Have the financial acumen; ability to accurately forecast revenue and profitability.
- Have excellent customer-facing skills, both business and technical.
- Provide client references.
- Client Partners have a proven track record of obtaining revenue goals.
- A verified track record of closing contracts.
- Experience managing an account or set of accounts in a consultative manner.
- Possess superior engagement skills managing the life cycle of sales pursuits and projects.
- Ability to travel as required.
- Work exceedingly well and wisely with all internal organizations and delivery staff.
- Convey the understanding and strong Industry knowledge and technical depth.
- Convey ability to work with all levels of management; comfortable presenting and networking with senior executives (strong executive presence).
- An established track record of achieving revenue and booking targets.
- You are a highly motivated self-starter.
- Demonstrated experience in selling and managing technology services contracts.
- 10+ years experience in the technology services industry.
- Serve as a point of escalation for engagement teams and the client when needed.
- Display strategic planning and pragmatic operational capabilities.
- In conjunction with delivery leads, manage engagement risk. Oversee engagements in named accounts.
- Excellent communication skills (including verbal, written, public speaking, and negotiation).
- You can orchestrate sales pursuit teams.
- Successful Client Partners have creativity in developing a book of business.
- Provide the business rationale and risk assessment for investing in accounts.

U.S. citizenship or equivalent is required.
