The Client Financial Analyst is responsible for day-to-day financial management of our business units. The analyst will be required to highlight key issues and minimize exposure items to the finance manager that may impact profitability or negative cash flow. The client financial analyst will have direct contact with all levels of the organization, including senior leadership and office leads.
General responsibilities include:
- Monitoring accruals and budgets
- Partnering with finance manager to review and record monthly revenue recognition
- Driving financial processes and compliance with FPG policies
- Preparing and reviewing external and internal client reporting
- Preparing, reviewing, and approving invoices, in conjunction with account service
- Coordinating all financial aspects or needs of a client including, but not limited to:
- Managing accounts receivable
- Partnering with/influencing client teams to ensure productive and accurate client financial management
- Leading financial review meetings
- Assisting with other ad hoc financial projects
- Managing client financial onboarding
What it takes:
- Highly organized and detail-driven
- Ability to prepare and analyze financial documents
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter mentality
- Strong time-management skills
Know-how:
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, etc) and pivot tables
- 1-2 years of experience in a related field
- Solid understanding of accounting concepts (debits/credits, revenue recognition)
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting preferred.
- Experience in a billable hour environment preferred, but not required
