Financial Analyst

Our client, a privately held organization located in Springfield, PA is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their team. Hybrid work environment (four days in office).

The Financial Analyst is a newly created position reporting to the CFO, that will be responsible for the translation of various data (sales, operating, financial) into actionable information, relating operational activity to financial results, and reconciling and analyzing financial results.

Responsibilities:

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for:

Handling financial data consolidation, preparation, and analysis, including forecasts, budgets, and income statements

Assisting with organizational planning and budgeting process

Managing and maintaining budget model

Completing P&L’s preparation and maintenance

Developing cost reduction and financial performance improvement alternatives

Building and summarizing data

Utilizing automated tools to drive efficiency

Creating financial models, variance analysis, and benchmarking

Regularly tracking financial status

Identify trends and recommending actions

Performing transactions reconciliations

Skills/ Competencies:

The ideal Financial Analyst will possess any of these skills:

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline

3+ years corporate analytical experience

Experience with inventory analysis

Thorough knowledge of financial forecasting, modeling, and reporting

Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency, with emphasis on Excel

Strong technical aptitude

Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
