SENIOR BUSINESS FINANCIAL ANALYST

White Plains, NY Area - Hybrid

Compensation up to 100k

Theposition provides analytical support to business functions.This position analyzes departmental costs, supports budget management, and provides internal stakeholders with accurate and timely financial information, making and implementing sound recommendations to ensure operating costs are within budget for the business unit.

Job Responsibilities

•Provides key decision support through analytical modeling regarding business strategies and resource utilization.

•Analyzes information with a financial and entrepreneurial view and develop recommendations that will improve business financial performance – identifying, designing and delivering relevant, actionable analyses actions to grow sales profitably, as well as improve operating costs.

•Day to day management of budgets, dynamic forecasting, and analysis of actual results, new business analysis, other financial capacities, as required.

•Responsible for managing the monthly Dynamic forecast process and interacting closely with the Director of Finance, Marketing, Media and Supply Chain leaders to ensure timely and accurate input of information and communicate/disseminate to local management and globally.

•Reviews and analyzes actual monthly results to make and recommend corrections as necessary.

•Assists in the preparation and analysis of annual budgets.

•Performs fixed assets budgeting and analysis.

•Performs departmental and fixed costs forecasting and analysis, review of actual versus budget.

•Completes special projects and analyses as designated by manager to support businesses development.

•Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, required.

•Relevant work experience in accounting and financial analysis required.

•Experience with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) and/or International Accounting Standards (IAS) required.

•Direct to consumer and/or subscription experience preferred

•Result focused, with a sense of curiosity, an open mind.

•Ability to succeed in a fast paced, demanding environment.

•Strong analytical skills. Able to draw conclusions from information and develop recommendations. Able to determine root cause of problems and recommend solutions.

•Self-starter, naturally inquisitive, and able to think independently.

•Strong Excel, business intelligence and data management skills.

•Oracle knowledge, a plus.

•SAP reporting, a plus.
