Overview
This role sits within the Chief Transformation Office, which leads the Transformation and Remediation at Deutsche Bank. The US Transformation Office leads oversight of programs which contribute to the uplift of the Firm’s capabilities across multiple lines of defense working in partnership with global Businesses, Risk, Compliance, Technology and Audit. The team ensures alignment of the portfolio of projects remains within groupwide strategic priorities and are successfully implemented to achieve the intended benefit and outcomes. Insights produced are critical to executive decision making and governance at the most senior level s of the organization. What You’ll Do
  • Implements and maintains program and project management frameworks and methodologies to drive consistent approach in delivering and reporting progress
  • Responsible for active stakeholder engagement by ensuring a close collaboration with key stakeholders across regional offices in the US, UK, and Germany. Work closely with program managers and divisional control officers to manage to project lifecycle standards
  • Ensures the documentation and tracking of portfolio relevant interdependencies, risks, issues, actions for mitigations and other related artefacts
  • Provides review and challenge on project plans and status reports to drive quality reporting, including proactively escalating key delivery risks and issues to senior management resulting from independent reviews
  • Runs end-to-end reporting process to produce executive level portfolio reporting to senior governance forums including and up to the Board
How You’ll Lead
  • Mentoring and coaching junior members of the team
  • Managing upward communications to effectively escalate and inform decision-making
  • Positively influencing diverse stakeholders without direct authority
Skills You’ll Need
  • Experience in executive messaging, reporting and communications related to managing large scale (cross divisional/multiple geographies) portfolios, establishment, and implementation of project management office structures
  • Extensive working experience in the financial services industry and a clear understanding of Finance’s key processes and systems
  • Strong project management office (PMO) skills and highly experienced in Excel, PowerPoint or reporting tools, e.g., Tableau or Business Objects. PMP or Prince2 certification is preferred but not required
  • Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably with a focus on economics, business, or engineering
Skills That Will Help You Excel
  • Advanced skills in elective stakeholder management along with advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to discuss and face different points of view or disagreements in a constructive manner
  • Experience in reviewing and challenging project plans and delivery status, effectively informing the development of meaningful progress reports
Expectations
It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York, NY office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $120,000 to $200,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
